We just arrived and wanted rest after long day's drive. We told the person at the front desk that we wanted rest, and that we would only stay for one night. We were directed to the Concierge who wanted to talk about many things and simply did not listen to basically anything we said. He continued saying he wanted to do his job irrespective of what we tried to tell him. I think the concierge young man forgot that we are owners, not begging for room here and did not want to further talk to him, but he clearly had an agenda and accused us of being disrespectful to him. We asked him to give us information about restaurants only. I understand if we had been staying for two or three days his assertive nature could have been tolerated but today we wanted rest. Sometimes we don't like Worldmark's method of trying to force meetings about updates etc. when we simply have no interest. They are so annoying. In the end we got frustrated 😠. People come to resorts to rest, not to be treated as we were. Getting frustrated by his behavior caused reaction to him and was a terrible way to start our stay with you.
The only good thing I can say about this place is the location and the restaurant. The rooms are dated, not kept clean and the staff does not clean the rooms after people who have had pets stay in them. The room we stayed in stunk so bad of pet urine, we had to leave the door open for about 30 minutes to air it out before we could even go in. Others have also complained about the pet urine stench and rooms being unkempt and not cleaned at all. This is a WorldMark property and should be held to a higher standard. It not a 3 or 4 star property, it is 1 star at best and that's because of the golf course and the adjacent restaurant. Not the rooms or the staff. They are not helpful or friendly.
TERRIBLE!!! Worst vacation ever!! Me and my husband came for a good 2 day vacation, and the salespeople started following me and my husband around!! They basically were chasing us down to ask for information that we gave the front desk. As a women this was terrifying!! My husband said "we already gave you our information" and they kept on following us! On top of that we kept getting calls from salespeople. We unplugged the phone.😡
