WSD Glory I Hotel Apartment

The Periscope is a pretty boutique hotel in a great location, with sleek rooms and thoughtful amenities like complimentary snacks and drinks, quality toiletries, soundproof windows, a Nespresso machine, and a lovely rooftop view. However, I was disappointed by the inconsistency in how Marriott elite status was recognized. Despite my Platinum status, I was told an upgrade wasn’t available due to the hotel being fully booked. That turned out not to be the case, which felt a bit disingenuous. I usually choose Marriott properties because of the consistency of service and recognition across the brand—unfortunately, this experience didn’t quite meet that expectation.

Very nice hotel with a cool lobby that is comfortable to chill in midday or before/after checkout. Location was excellent we were so happy to discover a new neighborhood of Athens. Reception was very helpful and welcoming. Room had what you need, with decent space. Great value for money.

We travel extensively, and this was simply the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. We In higher end hotels With fancier accommodations, but this staff, especially Nellie, treated us like rock stars from the moment we walked into the moment the cab took us away. The location is perfect, the rooms are fantastic, and the value may be the best in Athens. But the reason we will return is the staff, and how often do you hear that these days?
