Stayed there for almost a week with our dog , had so much fun we booked an extra night . After knowing we are coming with a dog the put out a doggie bed , bowls and snacks for him in our room . We had a sea side view Breakfast was amazing , not too early in the day you need to wake up extra early with a large variety of options and friendly staff . Located at the center of Sylt and is walking distance to all of the shops .

Lovely hotel right at the dunes with beautiful, simple but clean facilities. Highlights are generous breakfast, spa facilities such as pool to swim laps while gazing at the sea, gym, suanas and steam room. The bar on the 4th floor makes watching sunsets nice. Beach access is close. Staff person Karl made our stay 5 stars vs 4. He took time to help make us feel welcome and arranged a private guided tour of the Wadden Sea mudflats, an ecological treasure. Karl went out of his way to help us get to know the island, culture, and hotel amenities, and the recommended local tour guide Jan was amazing. Between them we learned about activities, sights, and restaurants we never would have found. Other staff people were not nearly so interested in anything other than basics so I hope Karl is valued there for how he adds to the experience. We went in early June during the week, so zero children for pool/spa/lounge noise. Just fun doggies.

Stayed for a week, the room is smaller than expected for the price they charge. The location is great with walking distance to town and beach. The breakfast buffet was excellent but there is no lunch or dinner service which was an issue during two of the rainstorm days where it is impossible to head out for food without getting completely soaked. Our cleaning lady lost both my tooth brush and one of our room key without apologizing to us. The spa is probably their best feature with a great view of the ocean.
