Just to be clear - I'm a random person that receives nothing for what I review. That said, this resort had some minor shortcomings, but nothing that would detract from a full-on 5 star rating. All inclusive means just that. Drinks were not watered down, food was top notch, service was exceptionally friendly and effective compared to other all-inclusive resorts I've been at in other countries. I have nothing but compliments about the food, drinks, waiters, bartenders and other service staff. Everything was fantastic. As for amenities the 1km long pool was wonderful. If a bar got busy, you grabbed your drinks and waded to another. The various bridges over the pool offer wonderful relief from the sun if you're looking for that. There's a full-blown Waterpark, a kids zone, and activities every day. There's the beach, a restaurant on the beach end for lunch, a grill for lunch about half length along the pool. The dinner restaurants choices rotate throughout the week - just check the website. Multiple entertainment options every night until past when you should be in bed. I can't say enough about this place. My family had a great time. It'd hard not to.
We went with my family and my cousin's family plus my mom and dad. It was a great. Resort! The food was great including the buffet. The only a la cart that wasn't good was the Japanese restaurant. I cannot say enough about the staff! They were so nice and helpful and helped with a smile. They never asked for a tip and it made me tip way more than I have ever tipped. The beach was not usable due to the seaweed.. the whole coast was afflicted but the pool made up for it. We really loved this resort and will be coming back to paradise!
Our experience at the resort was mediocre. Upon arrival, we were exhausted from traveling with our fussy 10-month-old baby. After checking in, we had to wait for a concierge to escort us to our room, which felt unnecessary. A more efficient approach would have been to provide us with directions to our room and have someone deliver our luggage later. The dining experience was also underwhelming. We visited most of the restaurants, except for the Italian one, and found the food to be nothing special. As a foodie, I'm being honest when I say that the quality wasn't impressive. To make matters worse, I got food poisoning one night. When my husband requested room service, he was informed that there would be a $10 charge, which seemed inconsistent with the all-inclusive package. While I understand the importance of tipping, additional fees for room service seem unnecessary. The staff's friendliness was also lacking. Given my experience with numerous vacations and all-inclusive resorts, I have a basis for comparison. Unfortunately, this resort fell short, and I wouldn't recommend it to others.
