Wyndham Garden Cancun Downtown

I recently stayed at Wyndham Garden Cancun Downtown, and I have to give a big shoutout to Sebastian at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. His professionalism and friendly attitude truly made a difference in my stay. I was so impressed that I came back again last night—and to my surprise, Sebastian went above and beyond by giving me a complimentary upgrade! I’m genuinely grateful for his kindness and excellent service. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone, and a special thank you to Sebastian for making my experience exceptional!

The rooms are a bit old but comfortable and clean. The location is good. There are always water bottles available in the rooms. Breakfast could have been better.

While this place is passable I would not say it is good. This place is TIRED. The Good: The bed is sooo comfy, best I had my whole trip. The front desk staff was incredibly nice and friendly. The shower was hot and good pressure The Bad: The bar serves two cocktails only and despite agreeing for us to charge our two drinks to our room the bartender followed my wife up to our room and demanded payment a few hours after we left the bar. I don’t know if this was a miscommunication but it was very rude. The bathroom door would get stuck and we had to leave it open or we couldn’t get into it The shower door was stuck open about 4 inches and had lots of built up scale and some mold. The AC made the room feel swampy and was in some kind of loud death rattle. The breakfast was not good for the value and I thought chancing it might end up in food poisoning. The plates were dirty with food stains on them, the coffee cups had unwashed coffee stains on them. The milk for coffee or cereal was lukewarm.
