Wyndham Garden Guatemala City

I read the previous post about the breakfast issue for additional guests. I called Wyndham several times before I arrived to ensure I had 2 guests. During check-in, my reservation still said 1 guest. I pulled up my confirmation for 2 guests to fix this matter. Marina was super helpful and friendly. I showed her the confirmation email that I did call. She fixed the reservation and had my room ready within 1 hour. She's the best! Rooms, very spacious and clean. Breakfast was fresh and well seasoned. They even helped with transportation to our excursions that were more than 1 hour away. Augustin and Carlos (drivers) were super attentive and friendly. They got us to our excursion on time and picked us up when we needed them. The hotel is super close to the airport, the mall, small shops, and restaurants. There is a bar in the hotel. Drinks were strong and have great prices. Definitely recommended

This might be the most honest five star review I’ve ever left. This was the best one-night stay in a hotel I’ve ever experienced. They live to serve, and every feature of the room is so thoughtfully designed and welcoming- if every Wyndham was like this I don’t ever want to stat anywhere but Wyndham ever again. The concierge staff was superb. Refined, professional, high class. The restaurant was genuinely the nicest hotel restaurant- so nice they made me wonder if they were just always this polite in life and not just their job. (I’d give the actual food a 3.5- it was hotel food, but extremely edible- the flavors you’d expect from a hotel/ cafeteria). The rooms are bright and cheery with floor length windows showing a spectacular view and a little balcony. Extra blankets, and the ONLY hotel bed I’ve ever slept in where I didn’t wake up several times in the night to my hips hurting. No pool, but a jacuzzi on the top floor with a little bar. Everything about this place is the picture of hospitality and they make you feel how you want to feel when you drag your tired body into a hotel at the end of a day. This is the last hotel we stayed in on a 17-day trip and I’m just amazed at the service. Whoever manages this hotel knows who to hire and how to train, and whoever designed this hotel thought about what they would want in a room for a single night. Thank you for making this stay so peaceful, so warm and welcoming, so comfortable. I’m a Wyndham customer for life.

The heart of Guatemala city is where this chic and spacious hotel. The attendants were very attentive and accommodative. The hotel room was spacious and minimalistic. It was very classic in appearance and the lack of clutter made us feel at peace. Meals were on time and everything was well catered
