Wyndham Garden Sonasea Van Don

Amazing experience, the rooms are clean and large, service is extremely friendly and the food, oh God, so tasty 😋

The view was so stunning,it made me want to just stay in the room! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, despite the lack of complimentary bottled water, which is typically standard. However, they acknowledged it as an honest mistake, and that level of honesty was appreciated.

We visited Wyndham Sonasea Vân Đồn as a group of friends with some kids 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. Check-in time was 3 PM ⏰, but we had to wait quite a bit at the lobby. Unfortunately, the lobby area was smaller than expected 🛋️—not as spacious or grand as advertised. There were only a few small sofas, which were quickly taken, especially with many guests arriving at once 😕. New amenities but safe box did not work 😀 The hotel features two swimming pools 🏊‍♀️🏊 located right in front of the main 200-room building, which is a nice touch, but it got crowded quickly, likely due to peak hours or high occupancy. It seems like the resort is still in its early stage of operation (maybe a soft opening?) so a few things still feel a bit unpolished 🔧. Staff were doing their best, but the overall experience was just average. If you’re looking for a simple place to stay with a group or family, it works 👌. But don’t expect a luxurious or seamless experience at this point. 👉 Overall: A normal, okay stay. Nothing too impressive, but it gets the job done for a casual trip.
