We have booked here a few times while visiting Family and the location is fine. I can Not Stress for your next visit STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! We booked a King Size and we ended up having a double full size room instead. Secondly, the door to our room was Not Secured Enough to shut properly. I mentioned this to staff twice and NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT!. Thirdly it took over 3 days to get our room cleaned out of a 5 day stay. In the time span we had left, Someone from the staff did clean our room finally but, My Future Wife's Rings went MISSING!! She had them on for all this trip up until Sunday afternoon. I truly believe a Staff Member had STOLEN THE RINGS! PLEASE STAY AWAY OTHERWISE YOUR VALUABLES MIGHT END UP MISSING TOO!! I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH TO FIND A DIFFERENT HOTEL. The reason why I state this accusations is because when we returned our Door was left Ajar. PLEASE PLEASE IF YOU VALUE YOUR ITEMS STAY AWAY!. I will keep you updated on the situation
We just got back from our stay at the Wyndham Cleveland Weslake, we stayed for a sports tournament. AVOID this hotel at all costs. Our team got moved hotels and we were assured it was decent. From the moment we walked in our team’s stay was below par. The rooms smell horrible, are in terrible shape and are just down right disgusting. About half of our team had to be moved rooms as rooms they were assigned to hadn’t been cleaned yet, or the air conditioner wasn’t working. Some of us even found used towels in our pile of new ones. The carpet in the room was beyond dirty and disgusting, just damp all of the time. Wall paper coming off of the walls, brown spots all of the ceiling and walls. When climbing into bed the first night our cover was stained yellow They have no common area for parents/kids to hangout. The pool closes at 9, but who the heck what’s to swim in that. Our team went in and got right back out. They said they kept stepping on slimy things and there were clumps of hair all over. When we asked to use the VERY small room off of the lobby they wanted to charge us over $250. Hotels like this shouldn’t be in business. It’s not as expensive as some hotels but it’s also not a cheap one. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!
This hotel smells like sewage. Checked in for a week stay and went back down to the office twice to ask for a new room because it smelled so bad. I never even unpacked my bags and immediately left the room. The front desk clerk said that it is an older hotel and they all smell the same. Another couple was in line after me and were also demanding a refund due to the bad smell. I used hotel points on a card so two hours after I checked in they only gave me a partial refund and kept $159 even though I never used the room. Do not book here. It was disgusting and full of what felt like homeless people. Did not feel safe and especially poor customer service with the Wyndham corporate office who refused to refund us. Thank god I booked it on my business card because capital one travel was at least successful at getting the hotel to give a partial refund after they refused to accommodate. What a scam!
