I guess the pools of thermal hot water indoors and outdoors at night are the highlight in this resort. Awesome!
Spent 2 nights at the hotel, unfortunately due to the reason of my visit to Gramado I didn't have much time to use the spa or the swimming pools, so can't say much about it. However, regarding service, rooms and breakfast I can throw a few words. Service in general is good. The front desk folks are really friendly and helpful. Rooms are OK, we were 2 people and it felt about right, however the double bed is pretty small. Another problem is the noise. The rooms have very bad noise insulation and kids running on the corridor or cars in the parking lot can be heard as if inside your room. The mini fridge was also quite noisy, and since it is located right in front of our bed, it makes the fridge noise even more prominent. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of pillows. Other than that rooms are in general new and well kept. Breakfast was chaos. I think the layout of the breakfast room just makes it even worse. It feels like a battlefield, with very little care to where stuff is located forcing people to walk back and forth to get food and drinks. Brazilians also don't make it easier as we tend to be very noisy, so it only adds more noise to this already stressful environment. The food however was really good. There's nothing to complain about that. Bottom line is, you will get good food in a not so comfortable environment. The hotel location is certainly the worse of it all. It is too far from the city which can make it hard to fix a taxi or an Uber after midnight. Also, there's nothing really special about the location. It has no special view of the valleys or hills, just the woods. On the same circumstances, short stay and not much availability during the day I'd pick up some other place. Otherwise I think it could be a good option.
Quality and service dropped considerably in the last two years, avoiding the week holidays from Uruguay as they take over the hotel and it become a chaos.
