By far the best Opulent Hotel in Busan , everything is here for you , the staff are lovely , they help you with everything your heart desires . Beaches are close by and restaurants. Also the Bar up stairs and restaurant has the best view in the Hotel , morning Buffet is to die for , Our room was executed to the most Opulence I’ve ever seen with the bath 🛁 tub over looking the ocean 🌊 .
I have real mixed feelings on this one. First the hotel itself. The rooms are fantastic, spacious and clean. The toiletries are world class brands and the bed is huge. We were also given a premium room with a sea view, truly magnificent. Location was OK, slightly too far from the main town in Nampo/Jagalchi at a 30 min walk, meaning we have to Uber or taxi each time. It is near the Songdo beach though which is good. The service and attitude of the front desk staff was very good, a true credit to their professionalism even in the face of complaints. I have a huge negative which was the gym and pool policy. I was not permitted to use the gym because I have tattoos. My tattoos are not extreme, no sleeves or anything frightening or gang related, just normal size on the arm. I was told I'd be scaring other guests. I found this to be highly discriminatory and frankly quite offensive, as if I was a lower class of guest. When I complained, I was met with sympathy but nothing actually came of it despite the staff promising to raise it with management. For an international hotel, this is truly unacceptable. Another minor gripe was the room cleaning. We found I cleaned hairs on the floor and the mugs we were given daily had dirty stains on them. When we raised this, the hottel to their credit paid extra attention cleaning the next day. Overall the hotel itself is very nice but the incidents above hold it back. I sincerely hope the management rectify these policies, it's not acceptable for an international hotel chain in this day and age.
The service of from arrival and reception had nothing wrong but the service of food and beverages was so poor. At Club lounge I had to fight for free soda water while Coke, Sprite is free and free flow. The male staff said, “Soda is not in the free flow drink list. If you want, you have to pay. - one very basic white and very basic red wine. Food selections in the line of Club Lounge are the same everyday and very limited. I noticed 1 or maximum 2 were changed; no fruits, no vegetables. Poor options of restaurant food in the middle of nowhere location. - Far from town. Everywhere is building structures covered with cheap tile; necessary furniture to fill up the space. No real style of decor. Breakfast food quality is not 5 star, breakfast restaurant design is like canteen. Service staff are poor especially the plate clearer and some lazy managers or supervisors. The only good was view - if only you pay extra for it and if you can come fast enough to take 4-5 seating by the window.
