Our trip wasn’t intended to come along by Wyndham Grand, but we’re sure glad we did! From the hospitality we experienced from walking through the revolving doors to the time we left through the same doors our stay was nothing short of spectacular. For an affordable price you’re given great views, and very close proximity to most things. Since it’s very centrally located we loved having things to do close by we didn’t have to drive long distances for. My one constructive critique would be that the room we’d stayed in seemed to be due for an update. We’d most certainly stay here again if/when we’re back. You and your hospitality helped our vacation come to a memorable conclusion- thank you.
We stayed 3 nights, four days. When we entered the room it was very spacious, nice floor plan. We unloaded our cooler and found food left in the refrigerator. Not a huge problem, I just placed it in the trash. The Valet, was great! Very much worth the price and they were friendly and fast. Requesting your vehicle was so easy with just the click of a button. Beds were comfy and they brought up blankets and a roll away bed as requested in a timely manner. Being there for multiple days made for a lot of trash in their tiny trash cans, which were not emptied one time while we were there. And we ran out of shampoo on day 2 and it never was refilled. Good thing we brought our own. The restaurant down stairs had an excellent breakfast which we ate at several mornings. The indoor pool was nice even though the light inside the pool came out of the wall and was floating around in the water. We were assured that swimmers were in no danger. All in all it was a nice stay and we would stay there again.
Parking is ridiculous. The entire valet process was a mess. When we arrived we checked in around 7:30 and handed our keys over. The valet attendant barely got our name and told us we would get a notification when our car was parked. Fast forward about an hour and a half later and still no notification. We came out to ask what the issue with parking was and our car was just sitting there. When we questioned them about not receiving our notification, the attendant acted confused as to why we were even asking. We grabbed our keys and took the vehicle for the evening. When we arrived back after our outing, we met a different group of valet attendants that were great. They took down all of our information and explained the process to us. I guess they don’t take your car to the lot until a car is requested by another patron. However, this group immediately took our car and we instantly received our notification. We ran into issues with that same initial valet employee taking hours for us to get our notification. Why was it so hard to immediately process our car into their system? Seems like a way to ditch responsibility if something goes wrong while the car is in their care. Other than the valet experience, the overall stay was fine. Nothing amazing. The plumbing in the bathroom needed serious repair. The toilet didn’t flush half of the time and the bath tub didn’t drain. I would suggest placing more towels in the room. We had to constantly ask for more. Consider including breakfast and not for an additional fee. This hotel will nickel and dime you with the extras that a lot of other hotels will offer for free right off the bat. The hotel could use a major overhaul and the staff could use a more positive attitude. Most of them seemed annoyed that we were asking questions or for things. Chin up! You live in an amazing city, be happy and helpful.
