The hotel looked grand and the ambience was good. The room was comfortable and the interior looks classy. The international dinner buffet had a huge variety of food with great quality. The breakfast buffet was fantastic as well. In addition, the hotel is situated relatively near to the shopping/food areas at the Huangxing Walking Street, which is about 20min by foot.
The room was really nice and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast buffet spread were fantastic, huge variety of dishes, eg German, western, Chinese, Japanese etc. And the dessert was superb - not overly sweet. My friends and I tried a little bit of each cake and we loved them ALL.
They do not use air conditioning during certain times of the year. My room is at 27C and will not come down. The hallways and lobbies are cool with air conditioning but they will not cool the rooms. Very difficult getting sleep in the heat.
