Peaceful Nature Getaway with Excellent Food & Service This resort is a breathtaking escape from city life. Perfectly nestled in nature with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The food and drink options were fantastic, especially at the bar where everything we tried was good. The staff were all friendly, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. While the resort is currently undergoing renovations (which meant a few areas were temporarily closed), the overall property is clean and well-maintained. The room was comfortable, though some updates like better humidity control would improve the stay even more. Note that this is not an all-inclusive resort, and breakfast is not included. However, the buffet breakfast is worth trying. Priced between $19–$34 per person depending on your package, with a great variety and delicious quality. For those wanting to explore local cuisine, there's a market area just a 5–10 minute drive away with excellent food options. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for a relaxing vacation surrounded by nature. I would absolutely recommend it for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting with great service and food.

Stayed for my birthday to GET AWAY for (2) days…….. this is what happened I had an amazing stay at the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar! The resort was incredibly clean and well-maintained from top to bottom. The rooms were spotless, the grounds were beautifully kept, and the overall vibe was just perfect for a relaxing getaway. The service by the pool was a little slow, but honestly, that’s pretty typical in Puerto Rico—no rush, just island time. Aside from that, everything else was perfect. The staff was friendly, the beach was stunning, and the amenities were top-notch. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Having traveled extensively, I can honestly say that the level of service at Rio Mar far exceeds many other resorts I've visited.
