Excellent resort, very well managed. Everything works in perfect harmony. I intend to return, I recommend it. Rating 10.
The good, the bad and the ugly: The good: dedicated entrance to the water park. No lines to get in. Tickets can be purchased at the hotel lobby. The bad: eating and consumption at the hotel is quite expensive. Make sure you purchase a 3 meal package with your reservation. Paying on the spot will cost you the arm and the leg. The ugly: sauna and hot tubs are not hot at all. It is surprising since the location sits atop hot springs (which can be enjoyed at the water park). Eating: think about a locust swarms devouring everything they can find and you will get the picture. Make sure you eat early if you bought the meal package.
Pro: Location. Cons: Hotel understaffed for the period of the year I went to, July. There were on pool towels available in the first day. The elevator was generally crowded, taking more than 5 min to find an available one. Two of the rooms had dirty marks on the walls and one was leaking in the bathroom. Entertainement and gym areas too small for the number of guests in the hotel. I would not back to a Whyndram hotel.
