Wyndham Residences Alvor Beach – A Perfect Coastal Getaway We stayed at Wyndham Residences Alvor Beach for two nights and absolutely loved every moment. The hotel itself is modern, tastefully decorated, and radiates a calming, beachside atmosphere that immediately puts you in vacation mode. From check-in to check-out, the staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The breakfast was a highlight each morning—fresh, varied, and consistently excellent. We booked a suite with a kitchenette and a lateral sea view, which turned out to be perfect. Enjoying sunsets from our private balcony was a daily treat. The beach is just a short 5-minute walk away, ideal for morning strolls or evening relaxation, and the scenery in the area is stunning. The hotel’s pool and bar area are well-designed and great for unwinding during the day. There is private parking available (for a fee), but we also found free street parking nearby. Location-wise, this hotel is a gem. Alvor served as a perfect base to explore the Algarve’s southern coast. The town center is a 10-minute walk and, while touristy, it’s full of charm and excellent restaurants. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, stylish, and well-located coastal escape.

Stayed here in March with probably the worst weather I’ve ever experienced in Alvor. Check in took 5 minutes lovely person on reception as were all the staff at this hotel. Room was spacious,clean and a great bathroom shower the view from the balcony was superb pity it was raining and very windy. The location is fantastic 5 minutes walk to a fabulous beach and 10 minutes into Alvor its self. Have already booked another stay in September hopefully better weather lol. We do arrive late in the day in September so if anyone could tell what time the hotel bar is open until that would be great,thanks.

The hotel is at a great location (very close to the beach). The food is good as well (nothing extraordinary but on the better side). There are only 2 downsides: -elevators: there are only 2 and for this many guests, housekeeping should have a dedicated elevator. -the stools in the room are really loud when housekeeping moves them. They should be either removed or just pit a noise reduction sticker on them - we couldnt sleep because of these in the afternoon. Otherwise, the hotel is recommended, as they have everything and the pool and beach is very nice.
