We stayed at this hotel for 6 days and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The service was excellent, all the staff and managers were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. The location is perfect, with many great restaurants within walking distance, which made it very easy to explore the area. The hotel also provides bikes, which was a fantastic way to get around and see more of the surroundings. The food at the hotel was delicious, and the breakfasts were truly outstanding, fresh, varied, and beautifully presented every morning. Oh, I almost forgot , the design of the hotel is beautiful and very cozy. Every detail has been carefully thought out, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return. A perfect combination of comfort, location, and top-quality service!

An Unforgettable Stay at XELA Tulum 🌴✨ My experience at XELA Tulum was truly next-level — an absolute dream from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, everything was taken care of with such care and intention. The staff made sure every detail was perfect, and it genuinely felt like we were staying in paradise. The breakfasts were absolutely spectacular — fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented each morning with ocean views that were straight out of a postcard. Every bite felt like it was made with love. The views and water were unmatched. Crystal-clear ocean steps from our room, with warm breezes and a peaceful, luxurious atmosphere. One of the most magical moments of our trip was witnessing sea turtles come ashore at night to lay their eggs — something I will never forget. And at night, the stars lit up the sky in the most breathtaking way. What really made this trip extra special was how the team at XELA went above and beyond to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. From the decor to the private moments they helped us plan, it was flawless — elegant, thoughtful, and so memorable. If you’re looking for a place that feels both luxurious and deeply connected to nature, XELA is it. We left feeling completely recharged, grateful, and already planning our return. 💫

My boyfriend and I visited Xela in March 2025 and had an amazing time! The location in Tulum is perfect - located right on the main road in the Zona Hotelera and directly on the beach. All the restaurants are within a 20-minute walk. The hotel is located on the quieter end of the strip, so most places are a short walk away. The hotel feels extremely secluded and is perfect for a relaxing stay. The location on the beach is beautiful, and the staff works every day to clear the seaweed from the sand. There are plenty of loungers and cabanas for guests to enjoy. The hotel is small - about 12 rooms - and there are plenty of staff, so you always get white glove service. The restaurant is delicious - especially the daily breakfast that is included in the room rate. We also enjoyed many meals sitting by the pool or at the beach. Our room was well-decorated and beautiful. We had a slight issue where there was a smell coming from the bathroom and the staff immediately resolved the issue without any interruption in our stay. I enjoyed the gym a few days - it’s simple but sufficient with a water erg, free weights and yoga mats. Overall, we had an amazing stay at Xela and can’t wait to come back soon! We highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy all Tulum has to offer while still having access to a quiet, relaxing and beautiful retreat.
