Xenophon Hotel

I stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Athens. I would say the beds in the room were not very comfortable, especially for couples. The bathroom was also too small, which made it a bit inconvenient. Regarding breakfast, the options were almost the same every day, and we didn’t really like the coffee. The only good thing is that the location is convenient, with easy access to the nearby train and bus stations. Overall, the stay was okay but could be improved in terms of comfort and breakfast variety

Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. Although it is listed as a 4-star hotel, it does not meet 4-star hotel standards. It is an old hotel. The gentleman at the reception was a bit rude. The hair dryer was quite old. Despite all this, it was sufficient for sleeping and meeting basic needs. There was space to park our car. Breakfast was average.

This hotel has probably renovated one floor to show-off in booking sites but the rest of the hotel is stuck in 80s. Never in life is this a 4-star hotel - hostel or 2 stars max. Our first room's bathroom was so small, old and ugly that we've immediately asked for another room. Breakfest is a similar story: Pictures in the booking sites show you a nice breakfest with fresh vegetables and you'll only get the cheapest ham and cheese and post-mix instead of fresh juice. Place to avoid.
