XQ El Palacete

We are staying here for 3 weeks. Hotel lovely, prime position overlooking the beach at Morro Jable. Food good. Room clean and spacious. The staff are excellent, Esther, Sara, Claudia, to name but a few. So hard working and make this hotel what it is. Getting a bit busier now and unfortunately before 8 am nearly all the sun beds have been taken. Certain people must have their spot. Never mind the beach with its sunbeds and brollies aren't far away.

I researched the best beaches in the Canaries, and decided on Jandia. The hotel appealed as it had a smaller, almost boutique feel about it. We were not disappointed. Stunning location. Very well appointed rooms with sea facing balcony. Half board was excellent. Buffet service in previous hotels had been a little dull, but the vast array of delicious food, with chef cooking freshly for you, was a treat. The weather was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel. We would love to visit again.

Fantastic location right on the beach. A small hotel which made dining very manageable particularly in the evening with two sittings. Food was very good and varied. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our biggest complaint was the water leaking from the shower into the bathroom, toilet and bedroom areas. We raised the issue four times with the management without any resolution except giving us more towels to soak up the water. We got the distinct impression that management were fully aware of this ongoing issue. We had booked a return stay for January 2024 but decided not to proceed as we felt we were not treated as valued customers.
