XQ Vistamar

Lovely spot. Great rooms and the customer service is top class. The concierge, Mikel, went out of his way to help us, he was so nice and understanding. Location is brilliant too. The Irish bar, harbour lights, next door, does the best fried breakfast!

Got back to the U.K yesterday after spending 10 nights at the vistimar for our 25th anniversary having last been 10 years ago with the kids. Our stay 10 years ago was amazing but this one was so much better, the hotel has been modernized extensively and no expense has been spared, the rooms are modern, well presented and have everything you could need for your stay, we honestly couldn't find a single fault with the room. The bed is beyond comfy, the sofa more than adequete for the time you will spend on it, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and a safe in the front bedroom. The balcony from floors 3 and 4 give unreal views of the beach and bay area and all have a table and 4 chairs big enough for a family meal, the kitchen has lots of cupboard space, fridge/microwave/coffee machine/juicer/kettle and counter top hob sat on a large island. Every member of staff without exception greets you with a smile and a hello every time they see you, the reception staff are extremely helpful, the cleaners never stop smiling and leave the rooms immaculate (2 days on 1 off), the pool side bar staff are a little double act, the pool/maintenace man is always on hand and the lifeguard is always willing to lend a hand around the pool. Honestly could not praise this hotel enough and we will be coming back without question. The restaurants to the left of the hotel are amazing, the beach is 20 foot from the gate and the panda ocean club is the place to be at sunset. You will not be dissapointed staying here.

Great hotel!😎 The beach is right in front of the hotel🏖, there are a lot of different restaurants🍻🍸🍹, and a supermarket nearby🛒. I really liked that the hotel was recently renovated, all the furniture and equipment are new. We also got a free late check-out at 15.00 in exchange for membership in the XQ club🤗. So next time in Gran Canaria we will definitely return to this hotel!🤩
