Really enjoyed this stay - unique and different from the usual. And the kiddo got to half dip his toes into some outdoor living - wasn’t rough at all! I’ll definitely come stay here again and be a lot more prepared next time. Only thing is the owner could actually properly invest into industrial shared bbq stoves like what they have at condos - a few halal and non halal ones - and you are set. Imagine happy customers barbecuing all night. Just charge for the wood fire or charcoal. I’d even build a wood fire oven out here…would be totally cool. Missed opportunities but hopefully the owner would invest a bit more into maximising the experience for everyone. We were here on low season and only 3 tents were occupied which made for a very quiet stay. At night time however you can hear the bikes and cars from the main road as we are still in Tambun town after all. Mornings however was lovely as there’s like a bird sanctuary right behind this place and you get to see tons of birds being active. The staff says there’s wildlife (monitor lizards) at the river behind, but they don’t come near. Don’t leave your food out or keep the lights turned on inside the tent or you will attract a heap load of insects!
I had a wonderful glamping experience at Xscape Tambun. The tent for two was cozy and well-equipped with essential amenities like a fan, water heater, cutlery, and a designated cooking area. Although the toilet was located outside, it was clean and had hot water available, which made it comfortable. One of the highlights was the free breakfast—an English breakfast set delivered right to our tent at 8 a.m., a lovely touch that added to the relaxing atmosphere. The weekday rate was very affordable, making this a great value-for-money getaway for nature lovers who still enjoy a bit of comfort.
My first time glamping. I really like the room. It is air-conditioned room, with a stand fan. I think they have hair dryer in the room. They provided hangers, slippers, as well as towels. It's cozy and nice for healing and relaxing. They also have a mini stove for you to cook outside of the room. With bowls and cutlery. The toilet is okay, I wish they could have installed towel hanger in the toilet. It's hard to put your clothes while taking a shower. The water coming out from the shower is slow.
