Yachtsman Hotel & Marina Club

My husband and I were very impressed at the Yachtsman! The customer service was above and beyond!!!! I'm saying this because I have in the hospitality industry for over 40 years and I'm always on alert for excellent service anytime we travel and will give credit where it's do! A wonderful agent named Tammy at the Marrietta property was so nice and hospital! Made us feel at home so nice! We rented a car and lost the second set that they always provide to the renters. We lost it unfortunately and thought we were out $500 bucks to replace when we turn in our rental. I called this hotel and to our luck they found it!! Yeahhhh! Tammy went ABOVE AND BEYOND to mail it back to us immediately! A little word to "Corporate" APPRECIATE YOUR STAFF AND MOST OF ALL TAMMY THAT THEY PROVIDE EXEMPLARY SERVICE AND ARE VERY VALUABLE ASSEST TO YOUR ESTABLISHMENT! SHE DESERVES A PROMOTION!, Not many staff care anymore these days! Consider your Hotel Lucky to have her! We will definitely be back there if she's there to stay in between travels! Five-Star Stay at The Yachtsman – A Maine Gem! We recently stayed at The Yachtsman during our trip to Maine, and let me just say it was even more stunning in person than in the pictures and TikTok videos I had seen beforehand! From the moment we arrived, the beachy vibe and thoughtfully curated decor made us feel like we had stepped into a coastal retreat straight out of a magazine. One of the highlights was the wall-mounted electric fireplace, which added such a cozy and relaxing ambiance to the room. But the real showstopper? The incredible view of the marina, just steps from our porch. We spent a peaceful evening sitting in the Adirondack chairs, soaking in the waterfront scenery. It was absolutely magical. The property also offers complimentary bikes, which we took full advantage of, and the 8:15 AM breakfast was the perfect way to start our day before cruising through town. Without a doubt, this was a five-star experience, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend The Yachtsman to anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic, and well-appointed stay in Maine!

We stayed at The Yachtsman and had a mostly good experience. The rooms were nicely done and the view was great. It’s also a short walk to downtown, which is really convenient. That said, service was a bit slow and not very easy to deal with. The pool is on the smaller side, and there were guests letting their dogs run around without much oversight from staff. Overall, a nice spot but a few things could be better managed.
