I came from Tokyo to stay at this inn. If you only look at the price of the accommodation, it may seem expensive, but you will receive compensation that matches that price. The crab dish was so delicious that I ate it all. In addition, the customer service of the employees was excellent, and everyone was involved from the time they arrived at the inn to the time they saw us off. Even after arriving, the courtyard was You can also enjoy coffee where you can see it. The temperature of the hot spring is just right and feels good. Drinks and amenities in the refrigerator It's fulfilling and wonderful. The black-throated blackthroat I received at breakfast was very delicious and I bought it as a souvenir. The breakfast is elaborate and everything is delicious. You can also refill the white rice and miso soup. Everyone's customer service was very pleasant and wonderful, and Mr. Otani's customer service was outstanding. This time, we started in Tottori for 6 nights and 7 days, and stayed in various places, but I will definitely make a reservation here during the crab season. It may also be a good idea to visit during different seasons.
This is a quiet, slightly expensive inn with only 10 rooms. The rooms include a Japanese-style room and a bedroom, with a semi-open-air bath fed by natural hot spring water. The air conditioner in the hallway was connected to outside air and it was hot, so it would have been nice if it had a cooling function. The food was Japanese-style creative cuisine that went well with the wine. I am completely satisfied with both the quantity and quality. The Kyoto-style dashimaki egg and miso soup for breakfast had a very gentle taste. In addition to the seafood bowl, there was a wide variety of side dishes, and the portions were large enough that even half of them were enough. It might be better to choose a half course. The dinner menu consisted of a lot of fresh local fish, and even though my husband noticed the raw tiger prawn sashimi last minute, he changed it to abalone and added it to the menu with consideration. The service from the staff was kind overall, and they responded politely to my inquiries about the next day's schedule. I was also happy with the chef's attentiveness.
This is an inn with only superficial service and no substance. The rooms and appearance are certainly impressive, but there are concerns about the small details and courtesy, and it would be ridiculous to expect more than what the price would suggest; it would be fair to rate this inn as below par. They are also selective about their guests, and I think they are harsh on first timers and young people. It seems like the only thing making it seem high class is its fancy "appearance".
