Yak and Yeti Inn

We didn’t stay at the hotel but stopped by for a meal—and we’re so glad we did! The hotel is set in a stunning location, nestled in the mountains, with breathtaking views all around. The restaurant has a warm, inviting vibe with tasteful decor and cozy seating. There’s also a charming little corner shop that offers a variety of teas, magnets, and other travel souvenirs. We ordered Veg Hakka Noodles (5/5, serves 2), Veg Manchurian (3.5/5), Mushroom Pizza (5/5, 8 pieces), Coffee (3/5), and Masala Tea (5/5). The overall experience was lovely. The property is located on the scenic route from Ranikhet to Almora, tucked into the hills. We’re already planning to return in the winter, as the staff mentioned that, the clear, panoramic views of the Himalayas are especially magical during that season. Can’t wait to come back and experience the full stay!

Amazing vibe and view of the hotel and restaurant. Loved how they have kept the place — green, clean and colorful. Food is good, loved the pizza and chai here. Totally recommended for family getaways and functions as well.

We had lunch here. It is in a good location right on the main road and there was ample parking. The property looked nice. The Chinese food we ordered was not that good. The service was good and the toilet was clean.
