Yaowarat Stay

Stayed 5 nights at Yaowarat Stay, happy with the decision. Spacious room. Great location. Helpful n patient host. Had problem with the door and got quick response with solution. Asked for bottle opener and got it next day.

This is definitely a worthwhile stay and one that I would recommend. First of all, the interior design is excellent. The design is cute, yet very comfortable. The modern and cozy style makes it feel like a secret hideout in the Old Town with an industrial feel. Morning bath time in the clean and tidy bathroom was fantastic. The bed in particular was large and a pleasure to sleep in. The owner gave me a list of recommended stylish places in the area, so I explored a lot of them and had a very fulfilling stay. I definitely recommend this place if you come to Old Town! ★★★★★

Our time at Yaowarat stay was very comfortable, providing all the necessary comforts you might need while in Bangkok. We booked the more budget room under my friends name, it is equipped with aircon, TV, small refrigerator (great if you have yummy leftovers to return to,) hairdryer, slippers, kettle and cups (tea and coffee is available in the corridor “lobby” on the 2nd floor). The furnishings are lovely with marcel Bruer replica rattan chairs and headboard, spacious windows and a table to eat or work at. The bathrooms had stunning terrazzo style floors and a lovely large shower with dual head option. Our only constructive feedback would be to have a little more toilet paper in the room, we had less than a full roll for 4 day stay with two people. The drain had a bit of a smell issue but there was a visit from someone to pour drain cleaner down, it was nice to see the host being proactive about the guests experience as we had not mentioned anything. If you contact the hosts I’m sure they will also provide more fresh towels as needed, we used the same towel set as our stay wasn’t too long. Neighbours can be a little noisy if they come and go past 10pm - I was frequently woken up by guest activity in the corridor and room next door but not the fault of the hosts at all! I think any kind of apartment living in Bangkok would have similar levels of background noise. Overall we felt very safe and secure. We were able to get where we needed to get by foot, train or grab. You will have a lovely stay here!
