Stayed in July 2025 and whilst the resort is beautiful and the beach is gorgeous, I booked a "Ocean View Room" and had a view of grass. The Ocean View rooms are arranged in a horse shoe around a pool hence if you are in one of the rooms on the side, you are looking at the other side and gardens. The gardens are lovely but having paid for an Ocean View, it was very disappointing. When I went to reception to discuss my view, they explained that sales and marketing team had named the rooms post renovation and not all rooms could see the ocean. Hence, be careful what you book and pay for. I was moved rooms on my second day and received two complimentary dinners. The Japanese restaurant has lovely food, especially when free, and the chef is very friendly. The hotel only has 36 rooms so nice and small, quiet and great location. But it is located 1 hour from Nadi and 3 from Suva so make sure you consider what tours you may wish to do and where you want to be as drive times in Fiji are long.

Dropped by for drinks after an afternoon drive, lovely setting with views of the beach. Looks like a great place to stay. Staff we spoke to were very welcoming as we walked in from the rain.

A long overdue review, my husband and I stayed here in early April for a 3-night mini break. We knew Yatule had undergone renovations, so we were curious to see what the excitement was about. I had never been to the property before, but my husband had. Upon our arrival, he immediately noticed how much the resort had changed since his last visit. Since it was my first time there, I instantly fell in love with the new infinity pool right in front of the property, and I appreciated the cohesive design inspired by ocean blues in their newly painted reception and dining area furniture. The service was outstanding, and all the staff we met were always cheerful, friendly, and accommodating. We were so impressed with everything that we decided to extend our stay by an extra night on the first day. Although it is advertised as an adults-only resort, on our second night, a family checked in with their five kids for two nights. This didn’t bother us since it wasn’t peak season, and we hardly noticed them. However, I understand it could be an issue for other guests expecting an adults-only environment. Just a heads up that they are not strict about the adults-only policy mentioned on their website and social media. The newly renovated rooms are absolutely beautiful, with the bathroom being the highlight for me. It is spacious, well-lit, and clean. The rooms are a bit smaller than most hotels in Fiji, but that wasn’t a problem for my husband and me since there were just the two of us. Another highlight of this lovely property was the food and the ukelele player with an amazing voice. Imagine enjoying breakfast while overlooking the stunning waters of Natadola Beach, all while listening to the gentleman’s beautiful melodies. We enjoyed complimentary breakfast throughout our stay. Since this is a small boutique resort, the breakfast selection isn't your usual extensive buffet. However, what they provided was beautifully and tastefully presented. The food portions were quite large, so we often skipped lunch. For dinner, we really loved dining at their Japanese restaurant, where we had a wonderful pork dish with pineapple salsa. I can't recall the name, but it was absolutely delicious. Overall, my husband and I had an excellent experience at this property, and we would happily return again soon.
