The staff are very nice. The apartments are large, we had 3 bedroom apartments. They cost $200 a night, so not cheap. They offer an XL transfer from the hotel for $40, which didn’t take the expressway (I’d recommend Uber). The beds were comfortable. Toiletries and drinking water was provided. There is a large pool outside, that is very cold, as it’s quite deep. There are some sun loungers, tables, chairs and parasols by the pool. Large ugly construction site next door. Direct access to the Yaya centre through the garage.
I am a mother with two babies, I was highly disappointed with the reception that was provided having gone to the checkin counter at Yaya apartments. Mind you we had previously stayed at this accommodation for a long period of time. All our information should be registered in their system. We were treated like we were criminals on arrival, they requested for my hard copy of id which I provided but failed to accept my husbands id. They requested us to then send out ID information via email only to refuse us from checking in. The manager of the accommodation also mentioned that he was the highest authority to go through, so we shamefully left their vicinity after being treated like thief’s. And being a Kenyan citizen I am highly disappointed by this reception.
This place was highly disappointing with how the reception conducted herself and the apartment manager, they will definitely loose clients with such attitude and discrimination against their own felow Africans ...it seems as though we are still in a conial system. How can they send a family home even after providing sufficient identification. Soft copies for children and husband and hard copy for a citizeb that made the booking. Absolute terrible system for checking, considering they stayed in this place last year, but seemed not to bother to check their sytema to verify that information. Why then take private information of anothet person... knowing that they would not accomodate my daughter, according to them it was a security risk.
