Ycona Luxury Resort

We had an amazing experience at Ycona, it is a dream place! And a place where I will definitely come back!! My husband and I spent our honeymoon in a villa with a private pool (Y11), and we had the best time. It was so relaxing and quiet, which I appreciate as we live in a busy city. The room and facilities were new and very clean, the pool has a table in it so you can have breakfast surrounded by water, really nice! We spent a lot of time in the resort to enjoy all it had to offer: The pool bar area, the three restaurants (they will have a 4th one very soon) the beach, gardens, gym and spa. We didn’t want to go anywhere but stick around and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and beautiful scenery. We walked on the beach towards Uroa, white sand, turquoise water.. dream!! Also, a good plan is to kayak if it is not too windy. We had dinner a few nights and tried their cuisine which was delicious, the head chef is Italian and you can feel it his touch in the menu, but also try some local recipes as they are very interesting too. Plus, the breakfast is just delicious, so I highly recommend you try it. The staff was very kind and helpful all the time, a special shoutout to Grace, Tina and Esther who accompanied us during breakfast and dinner time; Emmanuel, Omar and Roberto who made check-in and check-out smooth and Anchen with who we spoke a bit about the island and its treasures. A Beautiful and Serene Escape – Ycona Hotel We spent a wonderful week at the Ycona Hotel and truly had a lovely stay. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic. Rooms: We stayed in one of the villas, and it was nothing short of stunning. Spacious, modern, and beautifully integrated into the surroundings, the villa offered the perfect blend of comfort and style. A true haven of peace and privacy. Service: The staff were warm, attentive, and always willing to assist. A special mention goes to Grace and Chris - their genuine hospitality and personal touch made our stay truly memorable. They are true gems! Activities: This hotel is ideal for those seeking tranquility and relaxation. It’s a sanctuary designed to soothe the soul. If you’re looking for nightlife or party vibes, this isn’t the place - and that’s exactly what we loved about it. Cleanliness: Overall, the hotel was kept very clean. Given how new the hotel is, everything felt fresh and well-maintained. Food: We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and are excited to see what culinary delights the new restaurant will bring once it opens. Dining at Ycona was a highlight of our stay. We left feeling completely relaxed and recharged – and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Ycona is a true gem.
