Ye Olde Bell Hotel & Spa

The team here were absolutely fantastic. We stayed here the night before our wedding (along with a number of guests) and they went out of their way to accommodate our party. From room upgrades, late check-outs, large tables for dining (with last minute changes), nothing felt like too much trouble. The spa was amazing. It has a number of facilities and experiences and the therapist who conducted my treatment was lovely. Everybody here made the might before our wedding one we will remember fondly forever and we're so grateful.

Just had a delightful overnight stay during which I was proud to give my daughter away with a wedding in the hotel pergola. Vicki from the hotel was a great help.in calming the wedding party and directing the very young flower girls and page boy. We walked down a long path to the pergola where the Registrar conducted the formalities and the guests were seated. The room for the wedding breakfast was perfect for 90 guests. Every one of the staff here were friendly professionals who couldn't do enough for us. We had a number of babies and young children in the party and the staff took it all in their stride. I would highly recommend this as a wedding venue.

Recently I stayed for one night in this hotel. The breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. People were friendly. But rooms were very basic for its price and location. The single bed was very small and short. A tall person wouldn't be able to sleep there. The heating was on while it was hot outside so it was boiling the whole evening and no one would answer in the reception to help. Also it could have been better cleaned. The positive park with the room was that it was nicely equipped with good coffee and tea. Finally I didn''t have time to check out the spa so I can comment on that. Overall though I think for the price it was not worth the money.
