Yea Peppercorn Hotel

What a beautiful pub with warm hospitality and delicious meals. A rainy Sunday on our way back from Eildon, stopped into this gem off the Main Street. Hands down one of the best meals had in recent times. Will be back for sure with the rest of the family. Can’t recommend highly enough. 5 stars.

Rather lovely looking rooms, and cereal/ toast available to self serve for breakfast (however area was left unattended..bin not emptied, benches not cleaned, items not replaced unless asked, clean dishes not provided). Shower temperature and pressure and linen all fantastic. Improvement would be the actual bed needs replacing- very very soft / dips in the middle and bathroom tap washers need fixing and air con and tv (in one room) not working.

"This place has great potential, but a bit of background music would enhance the ambiance. The food was delicious – the Japanese oysters were flavorful, and the steak was cooked to perfection. However, the vegetable portion was somewhat lacking for the $51 price point. A more generous serving would be appreciated. On the service side, our waitress was attentive without being pushy, which was nice, but she didn't check in to see if we wanted dessert or another drink. Perhaps a bit more engagement would make the experience even better." I hope you take this on board for $88 For a bitters, lime and lemon, oysters , and a steak you need to put more vegetables on a plate now know when I was asking where to go to Eat why they were saying what they were saying obviously your new owners from what I’ve been told anyway good luck
