YHA Eastbourne

Really great stay with friends and staff are very nice and helpful. It has an area to park and clothes washing facilities. This hostel is a quick drive to the near-by town and a short drive away from the seven sisters. The lounge has ample seating, maps, info leaflets and a small collection of board games. I would definitely stay here again

It's clean, safe and practical. Not as nice as other yhas and I was woken quite a lot by other guests in the corridor. But the room is functional and clean. The location is great for the south downs way but not so great for Eastbourne centre but given the price, that's fair.

Great communication and it is very close to the Seven sisters cliff but sits on the highway so very noisy. The garden is very steep and not suitable for children to play. The rooms are clean but there are no nets on the windows so a lot of spiders and bugs come in... And you can't sleep with the windows closed because there is no a/c fan so the room is quite hot. The shower isn't comfortable especially for young children - you have to push on a button that is turned off automatically (like taps ti wash your hands!), but it was clean and we had hot water all the time. The kitchen is fully equipped (except for vegetable peeler) and spacious but since everything is not inside cupboards, it was a bit dusty.. You hear everything and everyone inside the room, so if your neighbors are loud you won't be able to sleep and the emergency green light inside the rooms that you can't turn off can drive you crazy during the night. Not accessible- you have steps from the parking. We hired the whole place and overall it was..ok.. but I think it's highly overpriced and I will not stay here again. No value for money.
