YHA Langdon Beck

This is a great place to stay... we hired the whole hostel for a friend's birthday. Excellent location with an 8 mile walk around a massive just from the hostel. Plenty of parking. Comfortable bunks with warm showers, great views, big kitchen, dining & lounge areas.

Lovely clean rooms with outstanding views of the north Pennines and surrounding countryside. Excellent kitchen and comfortable dining room/lounge. No hotel has a location like this - proper wild remote land . Easy access to the Pennine way and a great day ring walk following the way south to the nearby waterfall and dam,then swing north back to the hostel via the reservoir access road.

Beautiful spot for stunning views. Quiet. Excellent value. Very clean and tidy. WiFi worked flawlessly. Night lights next to the bed. There aren't many parking spaces. The staff was impolite. There were no proper signs or directions to the location. There are no cameras. With the heating on, it's too hot. The building does not like the image. Lot's of banging noise when trying to sleep.
