Very nice hotel in great location next to glasgow central rail station. Room was spacious with plenty of storage. Bed so comfortable and could be moved up and down electrically. Huge tv on opposite wall Shower really good coming from ceiling which was different and also had separate shower head for hair. Great value and location. Would have liked tea coffee making facilities in room.
I’ve stayed at YOTEL Glasgow twice now for business, mainly because of the amazing location, literally a 30-second walk to Glasgow Central Station, which makes travel super convenient. The hotel is well-priced for being right in the heart of the city. The staff are fantastic, really friendly and helpful, which made both of my stays pleasant. That said, don’t come expecting a scenic view! Both times, the view from my room wasn’t exactly great, but that’s to be expected in a busy city centre. The main downside for me was the noise. It’s a lively hotel, and on both stays I was woken up by people walking (or running) loudly in the corridors during the early morning hours. Also, the reclining bed is a cool feature, but mine was really noisy when adjusting… could probably use a bit of oil! Overall, it’s a great option if you need quick access to the city centre or trains. Despite the few small issues, I’d happily stay again for business trips.
It’s like this hotel has been designed by someone who has never stayed in a hotel before - open bathroom by the window which then blocks all the light from the rest of the room, no overhead lights, no kettle. Very poor value for money. You get more amenities in a Premier Inn for a much lower price. The room wasn’t in great state either, and the fridge didn’t appear to be working. The bowling looked fun but you had to pay extra. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable.
