The hotel is in a great location - we visit our daughter who lives nearby. Easy, good value hotel. We had brilliant service when what is normally a good breakfast didn't quite live up to expectations- the team immediately sorted and I received a phone call 3dsys later to check the agreed refund had taken place ' it had. Great service throughout. We will return
Great stay overall! I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff was friendly and the place was clean and comfortable. I did have an issue with a charge that hadn’t been clearly communicated beforehand, but as soon as I brought it up, the team handled it quickly and professionally, and the amount was promptly refunded. I really appreciated how responsive they were. Aside from that, everything went smoothly and I enjoyed my time there.
Rooms were clean and fairly spacious. However, the toilet felt like being in a caravan, and the shower design was poor. Water from the shower would flood the entire bathroom as the floor was not sloped towards the drain. There are no fridges in the rooms, so we used the communal one, but unfortunately our food was stolen. The room had an iron and tea/coffee facilities, but the drinks did not taste great. Check-in and check-out are self-service. We had issues checking out and had to wait a long time before someone could help us. Extending your check-out comes with a £30 charge. Security at the hotel needs improvement. Luggage is not stored securely, so keep all belongings with you. On the positive side, the bar staff were friendly, and the hotel had a very funky vibe. It was located very close to the town centre with plenty of shops nearby, and it was not far from the car park. Overall, an ideal spot for visiting Manchester and good value for the price.
