Fantastic stay away from the central area of the town and away from the tourist resorts. Incredible views of Mt Fuji, the lake, surrounding mountains and nature, in an area less touched by tourism. Rooms have a view, the common area and outdoor deck also have incredible views. The hosts at the inn are extremely accommodating and hospitable, arranging the bath every night and daily bicycle rentals if you wish. Chris was especially helpful during our stay and helped us with arranging taxis and our laundry. We enjoy sleeping on futons, but heads up to anyone with stiffer bodies who aren't used to sleeping on the floor :) Located near the end of the red bus line, so plan your day accordingly if you are not renting their bicycles, as it is quite a walk from the station. Not very close to many restaurants or convenience stores, and buses stop at 5:30/6. The whole town shuts down relatively early, but we loved the evening strolls to the inn along the lake.

We are pleasantly surprised by how good overall this inn is. The room is clean with stunning view of Mt Fuji. There is also private onsen service everyday! The staff is friendly, attentive and responsive. The inn is in a good location with walking distance to public transport and Lake Kawaguchiko. Highly recommended 👍🏼

The views from this place are phenomenal and the inn was very cozy. We loved the kind service and amazing hospitality and also loved the onsen (private) and tatami mat room with comfortable futons. The self serve coffee made very delightful mornings enjoying the views of Fujisan
