Your Alternative to a Five Star Hotel Premium Location

I cannot recommend this hotel enough, truly 5 stars all around. BIG shoutout to Anastasia who made our trip so special and wonderful. She was very diligent, thorough and so kind with anything we needed. We will absolutely be back and thank you Anastasia for making our stay so wonderful! :)

Would stay here again, we stayed for 5 nights in August. The location can’t be beat, very convenient for walking, taking the bus, catching train to airport. There is a IGA grocery store about 2 blocks away, rooms have a microwave and a mini fridge. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rates were way better than many hotels downtown. A few things worth mentioning: like others mentioned, the elevators are very small and usually at least 1 of the 4 elevators are out of order. The pool is in the basement (no hot tub) and feels a little dark. There is hot water available in the showers, but at times you do have to run it for 5-7 minutes before it starts to feel warm. Definitely not deal breakers for us as the beds were clean and comfortable and the stay was enjoyable.

Pros: Prime location with a lovely lobby, restaurant and coffee shop. The service was fantastic. The rooms are quite dated aside from some the updated ones so I hope they are working on improving more of the suites. The elevators are small, and can be an issue if there are more than a few people at a time but with a little patience or willingness to take the stairs, it is just fine. Overall good experience and the price couldn't be beat in downtown Vancouver!
