Ystad Saltsjöbad

It's very nice place, one of the best in Sweden, but there is diversity in the pools. There is a small cold bath, but no cold pool or a pool with some additional extra, like flowers pools or I've seen lemon pools in spain... All pools are basically the same.

This spa is often hyped as the best in Skåne, but I left a bit disappointed. Dinner at Port was underwhelming—chewy meat and overcooked, rubbery cod. The pool area was decent, with sea access and multiple saunas, but the steam room smelled sweaty and could use some essential oils. The highlight was the relax room with a sea view. Otherwise, it felt more like a crowded American resort than a serene spa experience.

The music is terrible and impossible to escape. Staff with empty hands walk past used glasses and plates that are waiting to be picked up by someone else. Whomever that person is seems never to arrive. All beds in the upstairs relaxation room had been used by wet people and the sheets & blankets are not changed between guests. I’d been wanting to come here for a while and it just wasn’t the relaxing experience I was looking for.
