They have a private onsen! At an affordable rate. What more can you ask for 🥹 There are plenty of parking spots there, convenient for those who are driving. A short drive needed from Yufuin centre, but I believe the host provides shuttle service. Room is very spacious. A bit old but well maintained!
One of the best ryokan I’ve ever visited. Clean room, great services. Private onset 24/7!! Price is very reasonable. Quiet and peaceful. A little faraway from a train station but the owner can pick you up or there are taxi you can take.
It was a very pleasant stay! You get a whole ryokan and of course, private onsen. I am very blessed to meet the owner, Ikeda-san. He is like a father to us 😁 He would pick you up when you arrived at the Yufuin train station, drive you to the city, and pick you back at 05.00 pm. Yufuin city’s activities mostly stopped at 05.00-06.00 pm, so you should prepare/buy your dinner at convenience store before going back to Oyado Hananoyu. If I ever have another chance to visit Yufuin, I would definitely come back here. I wish Ikeda-san a long and prosperous life, so we can meet again 🙏🏻
