Yufuin Santokan

We really enjoyed our time staying at Santoukan. The staff were really friendly, the rooms were great, and the food was excellent. I've stayed at plenty of ryokans in Japan, and Santoukan's food is definitely top 3. It isn't simply giving us high quality ingredients to shabu-shabu. Every dish was prepared perfectly, and our dinners and breakfast were the highlight of our trip. We will be back the next time we visit yufuin!

Great Ryokan to visit from Fukuoka. Super friendly staff, great traditional food from local ingredients, great room, nice onsen. You can just walk 5 minutes to lake Kinrin from this ryokan. They also offer complimentary shuttle from/to Yufuin station. Very recommended 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
