Not cheap but good value for money. Standard room may be a bit small and not nice view. Special rooms are more comfortable and good views Services are genuine. Food are well prepared, nicely served. Drinks especially wine selection are limited. Onsen need development in shower and indoor bath area (although not too bad). Outdoor onsen has beautiful views as shown on their pictures. Interestingly to return.

First time experiencing a retro hotel style, and I loved the service and mountain view. However, there are quite a few things that may feel unusual for foreigners, like no private shower room, sleeping on the floor, mandatory retro Japanese uniforms, and super low counters in the room (feels like they were made for kids). The private onsen is allowed only once, and you take your shower there. As for the food, it’s very native and heavily fish-based, which I personally couldn’t enjoy, but it seems great if you like traditional flavors. Additionally, it’s a 20-minute walk to the nearest 7-11, so keep that in mind. A chain hotel might be a better option for a more typical experience. **Positive:** The room was clean, the food was acceptable and fresh, but the price was too high for what I received. Not worthy. **Negative:** I had a disappointing experience with the Onsen. You need to reserve a one-hour session in advance, which means you might have to wait a long time for others to finish or miss out entirely, even if it's empty, because someone else booked it. Overall, it was very expensive and not worth the value.
