Yuhigaura Onsen Honjinsuigetsu

Location is prime - oceanfront. It doesn’t look like much from the outside and could be easily missed, but this is very beautiful, modern and recently very well remodeled ryokan. Everything was spotless clean, very comfortable bed and softest bedsheets. Staff was very friendly and it was easy to communicate in English/ Google translate. Onsen had smaller dressing area but generous shower and pool area. There were three superb pools - one jacuzzi and one soak tub outside and one inside. Outside pools overlook the ocean, it was perfect. We loved yukata and loungewear that were provided for the hotel use. The best part was that we had onsen bath tub directly in our bathroom - so we had private onsen at any time.

This was an absolutely amazing place to stay. It doesn’t look like much on the outside but the inside is absolutely gorgeous. It has an zen feeling with a great onsen. The staff was the best part. We where showered in kindness through our whole stay. The owner was absolutely lovely. I hope that no one underestimate this place because of the outside because our stay was 10/10!!

It seems that 95% of the place has been renovated. It's really clean and there's no doubt that your satisfaction with your trip will increase. Dinner was delicious, and we were able to enjoy seafood. I've never stayed at an inn before where I was allowed to go see the sunset during dinner. *You might be turned away if they're busy lol The landlady was very kind and I'm really glad I stayed there. I've stayed at several Yuhigaura Onsen hotels, but this one was by far the most satisfying. I highly recommend it!
