Yumoto Fujiya Hotel

We had a wonderful stay here with our two kids (4 months old / 2 years old) The location is excellent, just a 1-2 minute walk from the station, which was especially helpful on the hot day we arrived. The hotel is incredibly accommodating for families with small children. During dinner, they provided a baby bed that could be attached to a chair, which allowed us to enjoy our meal comfortably. They also brought out the kids’ meals first, which we really appreciated. There is also a kids’ play area, which was a huge plus for parents. The only small suggestion we have is that it would be even better if it opened at 8 am instead of 9. Since breakfast starts at 7am and our 2 years old had already finished eating by 8, they were full of energy and ready to play! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hakone with children. It made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Thanks!

This is a beautiful hotel. It has huge rooms and good facilities. They have three resumes Japanese, Chinese and French style with breakfast included. They might have reasonable charge etc for additional guest per day for stay and additionally breakfast. Place is walkable and very near the train station. They have good views to the water body. We also have good vegetation options in the Chinese restaurant.

I love the location of the hotel. It is across from the train station and check in was easy and fast by the time we got to the hotel at 9 pm. We were exhausted and we were so happy that we picked this hotel. The onsen was relaxing. The breakfast was included in our room selection and it was delicious. I love that there were so many choices! Our room was a decent size and twin beds were harder than we typical have in the US but still very nice. I love waking up and looking outside to watch the fog passing the mountains and hear the sound of the river. It was very peaceful and nice here. They also have luggage locks by the front desk that we locked our suitcases and a bag after we checked out. We were able to go into town and visited places by Lake Ashi and come back later in the day and grab our suitcases. We are very happy we chose this hotel and the service was great.
