Coming here first time to celebrate wife’s birthday. Hot spa with a very decent hot pot dining experience. Great attitudes and services by all staffs we run into starting from the parking area. Highly recommended and for sure we will come again!

Had a wonderful experience staying at the Yun Hotel with my kids. This was probably one of my most relaxing staycations as we stayed in the Water Room with the hot spring and sizable living room. The front desk had an English speak gentlemen that took care of our check in, and described all the things we could do at the hotel. This place is very kid friendly with a dedicated play room on the second floor, and a mini race track with high end electric cars for the kids to drive. There's also a snacks, arts n crafts, and a movie theatre all on the ground floor. The people staffing all these venues were all very helpful and professional. Our morning breakfast was delivered on time and so delicious. There was so much food, 3 people could not finish the 2 sets. Can't wait to visit again during the next holiday!

Nicely decorated room, in-room onsen was great, as was the public bath (take note only above 12 years old for public bath). Check in on a Sat only available at 4pm-ish, which is later than expected. However, the king bed was very hard and the 2 single beds in the kids tent were extremely uncomfortable, could easily feel the hard springs inside. Pillows were also too soft. Would have expected a hotel of this standard to perform better in this aspect. Hotel also had 2 kids area; one where they could ride cars around a track, and the other an indoor playroom. My kids had fun there. Breakfast was good. They deliver it to your room at your specified time. Choice of oriental or western: side dishes were tasty , but the main (salmon and grilled chicken) were cold and the meat was too tough for us. Small suggestion; most western breakfasts in hotels have eggs, so that would be great to offer this as well. Overall, a decent stay. Danshui generally has a shortage of upmarket hotels, so obviously these hotels are able to charge a higher price, leading to what we feel a lower than expected CP value.
