BEWARE PLEASE READ TILL THE END. If I could give ZERO STARS I would! I booked a for 3 nights the “penthouse spa suite”. Soon as I entered the hotel it was HOT! I should have realized in that moment they had a/c issues. Got up to my room, DINGY, DATED, Disgusting. I was informed in writing that due to the CDC (center for disease control) the “jacuzzi” jets had not been run since COVID which was 5 years ago to bacteria issues so they could only “fill up” the jacuzzi with hot water & add bath salts . This was not room specific, this went for ALL rooms with jacuzzis. I went to look at the jacuzzi and it was cracked , discolored, dingy . It was so horrid I wouldn’t even bathe a homeless dog in that tub!! The 2nd floor balcony had no views although in the booking it said “city view” the balcony rooms face a residential run down building with nothing but windows of ppl that can see into your room. The actual room a/c didn’t work and I saw this on previous reviews but thought surely they would’ve had this fixed since the reviews were from months ago, I immediately went downstairs to check out & get a refund but they said NO because I booked through a 3rd party. I DID NOT CHECK OUT, instead I left & stayed with a friend at another location. The next morning the hotel contacted me and said they had took it upon themselves to “check me out” because I didn’t come back to the hotel for the night & when they sent housekeeping to go in my room , housekeeping said they didn’t see any of my things in the room! I have NEVER had an experience like this!!! They still charged me for the 3 nights. This establishment is FRAUDULENT!!!!
The worst hotel I’ve been in. Pictures are deceptive. Hotel is filthy. None of the amenities are up and running or even look like the photos. Two sinks in the bathroom, one will not drain. Almost no lightning in the room itself so very dark. Broken couch/seat- literally leaning to one side. Kitchen lighting flickers. Vents are extremely dusty. And to top it off, a/c was not working and the problem existed before check in- but no one said anything. Cigarette like burns on all of the patio furniture. One of the nozzles in the shower doesn’t is broken and shoots water straight out. The patio lights didn’t work so it was dark at night. The restaurant is non existent- we were told it’s closed for renovations. But as filthy as this place was, I couldn’t imagine eating here. Overall this place is very dingy and id say it was truly a dump. The location is the only positive here
The property felt like an abandoned hotel that peaked in the early 2000s. The pool and hot tub had rust stains and marks everywhere, there were multiple broken lounge chairs everywhere, dead unmaintained plants/weeds… When the pool area physically looks dirty and unattended, I could only imagine the lack of upkeep chemical wise for the hot tub and pool. The main lobby/restaurant bar area has the EXACT same feel. Abandoned pool table and shuffle board, disgustingly dirty chairs, a rusted drink machine just sitting on the bar… You can’t make this up. Glass windows looking into a room of piled old equipment and furniture. Unfortunate homeless people come and sleep in the lounge area because no one is around to guide them off property. The woman at the desk has the type of attitude that’s so bad, it’s actually funny. People are forced to talk to her because she has to call for someone who then calls for the elevator. That’s right, you have to talk to 3 people before you can push your floor button on the elevator. First the miserable woman behind the desk, then she contacts the nicer woman who sits around on her cell phone all day, she then contacts the random person who sits on a stool in the elevator. Comical… Needless to say, after day one, we just took the stairs to avoid the elevator czar. Our “host” did say there wasn’t a gym and I now know why. This hotel is advertising they have a gym but really what it is, is a treadmill graveyard where they have broken equipment everywhere. Our room itself was fine. It wasn’t dirty but it wasn’t the cleanest room ever. If I had a pair of white socks, I’d guarantee they’d be dirty if I walked around the tile floor for an hour. Typical small spots of mold on the caulking in the shower, nothing that can’t be fixed but it’s there. Every door in the hotel has a 1” gap under it which makes keeping sound out of the room difficult but we just ran the central fan at night to try to drown out the noise because you could literally hear everything. Putting all of this together and then coming up with almost a $400 a night price tag (after all fees/taxes) and it just is not worth a return. The resort is wildly mismanaged and it shows.
