Zante Imperial Beach Hotel

Good Vacation. After an 2 years hard days about the Corona Pandemic I have enjoyed this place. The rooms are good the dirty places where only at the end of the Reception. I have there no problems at all. The swimming pools where too good. Reading some of my collected Japanese books. And listen to music on my tablet. More the food is good but the frites can be a lot better. It is on very much people an bad hotel. But I gave him an 5.

The hotel complex is renewed, improvements can be seen, anyway it is not the highest level one. Nice small beach accesible via stairs or a lift. Lift capacity is limited, so waiting times in rush hour must be taken in account. Small bar, restaurand quite OK, but at the time when we were there the cups were not really clean (too much guests? Unsufficient cleaning time in dishwasher?)... Air conditioning in room at the limit. But overall for the price acceptable.

We have come for a holiday as a 4person family.we would not recommend this hotel to anyone!waste of money and time! We have been greeted into a smelly full of damp room.the bath is literally peeling away. (picture attached) After complaining to the reception and asking for a new room we have been ignored!2 days in a row we have been told we will be moved into a new room you guessed it no result! The hotel is nothing like advertised. Some facilities don't even work. Planning to go to the beach you better take your purse as sunbeds costs €8. The pool area does not get cleaned in evening or morning as a result you have a whole bunch of wasps spending holiday by your side. The hotel food choice is disappointing. Same thing as served for lunch will be served for dinner just with a sauce poured over it. Are you ready for your workout holiday? You better be if you planning to book because you will have tons of stairs to climb.the hotels smells of sewage and there is literally s*** laying around (picture attached). The staff are very rude. They do not know how to deal with any form of complaint. I have asked a cleaner for a new sets of towels as we are supposed to get new ones each day. She aggressively said "no I don't have any" and followed it up by calling the reception moaning about me for asking for what I paid for! After getting off the phone she grabbed the dirty towels out of my hands aggressively and started shouting at me in Greek. She came back with new sets of towels dumped them all on the bed and slammed the doors! Defianelty not the treatment I was expecting for asking for such a simple thing! I have tried to resolve the issue with the manager but again no result he didn't even bother trying. He refused to speak with me face to face and insisted on a phonecall. Customer service here is awful and I will never return to this place. 4 stars,no way! Dont waste your money so many better hotels around!
