Nice hotel in a quiet location, easy walk to bars and restaurants and 5 min stroll to a decent beach. Hotel is very clean and tidy, staff very friendly and helpful. Food was good, reasonable choice everyday. I wouldn't say it was 5 star it lacked any bells or whistles but it was fine for a week away and some early sun.

I stayed at Zante Park Resort & Spa last week, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what one would expect from a 5-star hotel. In my opinion, this property would be rated no more than 3 stars at best. Staff: The reception staff were unfriendly and unprofessional throughout our stay. On one occasion, they were even rude to both me and my child. Not once did they respond to any of our requests or show a willingness to help. The lack of hospitality was truly disappointing. Rooms: The rooms were in very poor condition — outdated furniture, broken windows, mold, and a general lack of cleanliness. The air conditioning barely worked, which made our stay even more uncomfortable. Buffet: Breakfasts were terrible — tasteless, repetitive, and of very low quality. The coffee was undrinkable. While lunch and dinner were slightly better, they were also monotonous and lacked variety. The soft drinks tasted artificial and unpleasant — definitely not suitable for children. Location: The hotel is in a quiet area, which was a small positive. However, it takes a walk to get to the beach, and once there, all the sunbeds are available only at an extra cost. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. Unless the staff receive proper training in customer service and the hotel undergoes serious renovation, it does not deserve its 5-star rating. There is potential, but currently, it fails to deliver a comfortable or pleasant guest experience

We checked into room 348. Yellow stains in the bathroom tub. Broken vanity. Shower head rusty. Sides of the bathtub rustered all the way to the floor. You wouldn't want to even step into the bathtub. Outdated room. Old furnishings and bed sheets smelled unclean. We were then moved to 206 because we weren't happy with the state of this superior room. The next room had a better bathroom, not so damaged. The water pressure is extremely weak for shower. So be prepared for that disappointing longer than usual shower. The room was much smaller with two red lights on the wall. Not sure what we stepped into, brothel!? The noise outside our room was absolutely horrible. Doors closing and opening loudly. People have no consideration to other guests. Staff need to put up signs as this was very bad. Hallway echoes, which doesn't help. The gym was just filthy and it absolutely stank! Like it's been locked away, never used. Well we never saw anyone use it. Hardly a gym as well. Gentleman in housekeeping would open your door randomly to ask if you needed coffee! Like really!? Luckily we weren't naked ! The food was OK, not bad. Good selection. Chef and waiters were friendly. Some housekeepers, women we nice. Reception desk weren't always helpful or friendly. The pool was great, but you had to grab a seat early or you'll be left standing around a pool with no where to sit or place your things. I didn't like the fact that on our last day, we had a staff member friendly forcing a 5 star rating on a google review. That already screams 'red flag' We asked for compensation because they downgraded the room after we complained. That request was rejected because we didn't further complain after we moved to the downgraded room. We left this in the hands of our agent who booked us this hotel, and because we didn't want to further complain to them as it already hindered our stay and we too were annoyed, they were clearly frustrated from us that we complained. We didn't want to further ruin our holiday. Their reply was we accepted the room and we didn't complain. The agent sent them an email on our behalf. This wasn't good enough for them. We have definitely been catfish with the rooms. The pictures have been heavily altered. It's no more than a 3 star. To top it off we were charged $15 euro per night for tourist tax. we stayed 6 nights!!!! Generally it's between 10 to 15 euro. They charged this because it's 5 star. LOL. We were in novotel and ibis and they rate themselves 4 star and we were charged 10 euro per night and their rooms were way better!!! I have since replied to their email and received no response Next step is posting the real pictures of their rooms/bathrooms unedited on my social media account with a large following. There are some shots posted here to get it going. I do not appreciate being lied to and ripped off! I hope they do right before it's next posted on my social media blog.
