ZEN Premium Uluwatu Complex

ZEN Premium Uluwatu Complex is a great way to relax. Surrounded by the New Kuta Golf course the hotel complex is quiet and peaceful. We had a large deluxe room fitted with a huge bathroom including bath our own little balcony with a day bed overlooking one of the three swimming pools. A comfy bed and decent room service we were more than happy that we didn’t have to leave the room when it decided to rain on the first evening. The complex is a 10-15 min drive from Dreamland Beach and a 25 min drive from Uluwatu which are both great spots to chill and hang out in during the day. Then there is also the golf course and the spa on-site. All in all it was a great weekend away in Uluwatu :-)

(+) This hotel complex has amazing potential to be one of the best in southern Bali. With excellent facilities, including 24 hour room service, a bar inside the complex, a massive infinity pool, a transport (taxi/scooter) service located in the complex, a golf course on site, a well-equipped gym and an excellent restaurant. Your experience is further enhanced by excellent Balinese hospitality. My wife and I booked into a room at the far end of the complex, which was very quiet and peaceful (we asked for a quiet room beforehand). The surrounding gardens are well maintained. Beautiful water features can be found around the complex. Rooms are large, modern and well-equipped (good aircon). Bathroom is quite large. Comfortable bed. There is a free shuttle service (at specific times) to nearby beaches, including Dreamland Beach, Padang Padang Beach and Suluban Beach. Porter service also available on arrival (free, but you are welcome to tip). Mountain bikes available for use inside the complex. Special mention of the restaurant - excellent buffet breakfast, excellent supper/dinner options and amazing food quality. Live music and barbecue special on certain nights. There was a foam party (with local DJ) on one of the nights during our stay, which was quite cool. Another special mention - they have an excellent airport shuttle. Our flights were changed at the last minute and we informed ZEN rooms immediately. There were no issues upon arrival in Bali and the driver was on time (thanks Putu). We will definitely be back when we visit Bali again. (-) No major issues. The bed sheets were a little grainy (not smooth). The shower was level with the floor, which meant leakage of water onto the bathroom floor when you shower. Build quality of the room can be improved. Floors a little dirty.

Amazing place to stay in Uluwatu if you are after a bit of peace and quiet, yet still be close enough to popular beaches. Loved my time here, would definitely stay again.
