I stayed at this hotel during a trip to Chengdu, and it was an extremely disappointing experience. Shortly after the stay, I developed numerous red, itchy welts on my legs. These bites were not from mosquitoes - I live in a tropical country where mosquitoes are common, and I've never experienced such persistent, intense itching that lasted more than a week and continued to get worse. My husband, who stayed in the same room, did not have visible bites but developed unusual skin dryness and itching, which also began after we left the hotel. These are classic signs of bedbug exposure. We raised the issue with Trip.com, but the hotel simply dismissed it as "mosquito bites" — this is completely unacceptable. No accountability, no investigation, and no concern for guest health or hygiene. If the hotel can't even acknowledge the possibility of bedbugs, how will they ever improve? I do not recommend this hotel, and I hope other travelers take this seriously before booking. I come from a tropical country where mosquitoes are common all year round, and I have never been bitten like this by a "mosquito". This experience was seriously caused by bed bug bites. Trip.com responded to us saying: "The hotel said we were bitten by mosquitoes." In this way, the hotel shirks its responsibility and handles the problem without sincerity. Remind future travelers to think twice!
