Zenit Borrell

This is a standard hotel, nothing specialy good or bad about it. It could use some updating on rooms and bathrooms. Barcelona is expensive so if you want a nicer location, you should pay a little extra to be closer to the main attractions unless you don't mind walking or paying a lot for transportation. Our room had a nice workstation and was quite spacious. Bathrooms get floors all wet due to the European style of putting small glasses to protect water from splashing outside but this seems to be a common theme in Europe.

Very clean and modern. Friendly and helpful staff, and nice breakfast too. The kettle in the room too far from the socket had to balance the platform it stood on over the edge of the table to reach, though. Not ideal, and no sachet of coffee in the room, just three fragrant tea bags. Nice if you like those, I suppose. Nevertheless, I would return it was a pleasure, thanks 🙏

I usually went to another 4 star at Barcelona at 15min by walk of this hotel. For also a 4 star, I was disappointed by a small room, the breakfast is like an ibis, no cup of Thea (I asked but no..), meat rapidly dry... The shower was not working correctly, I expected the cleaner reported it to the maintenance but I did and that was repaired. So I will avoid it for my next trips.
