Zenit Wellness Hotel Balaton

Nice hotel on a small hill with wonderful view! Close to the lake Balaton and nice regions around the Balaton! Wellness area small and nice, only the whirlpool didnt work. Opening times a bit to short or difficult to manage with dinner time. Rooms nice and clean, comfortable bed, balcony or terrace and big bathroom. Restaurant with nice view! The terrace is lovely to sit outside. But unfortunately (in July) eating was a bit of a challenge cause of wasps. The service was a bit unattentive. Food was good but with to less variety.

We stayed here for three nights. There were two good things about this hotel - the view from the balcony was amazing and the kitchen was great! To the kitchen I would give 5* actually. Delicious. Spa zone could be better: only 3 saunas (infra sauna, Finn sauna and steam room). The steam room didn’t work well. Staff could be nicer and more professional. They say that this hotel is 4*Superior, but I doubt it. Overall we had a good time but we will not come back to this hotel in the future.

Try to avoid going to the restaurant when it starts getting dark. You'll end up as a nice meal for the mosquitoes — I killed over 100 of them in just over an hour. I’d rather not share the photos. The food is alright, but the prices are for those with deep wallets. Considering the prices, I’d say the guests are already investing enough for them to afford a UV lamp to keep the insects under control.
