I recently stayed two nights at Zenmaya Oceanfront Phuket by Wyndham, and it was such a relaxing escape. The oceanfront views from the room were absolutely stunning, especially during sunset. The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with a modern Thai touch. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. I especially loved the infinity pool overlooking the sea—it was the perfect spot to unwind. Breakfast had a great variety and everything was fresh. The location was peaceful but still close enough to Patong for a quick trip. Overall, a wonderful stay—I’d definitely come back!

Most amazing staff. Nothing was too difficult for them, including getting chalk for the pool cues. Food was good, location perfect and the pool was superb. If we go to Phuket again we will definitely stay there.

Check-in staff are difficult and unreasonable (which is unusual for Thailand). We arrived from Lisbon, exhausted, 3 hours before check-in and they said if they had a room they would let us know. An hour before check-in, nothing. They started to make us feel like we're the problem. We were encouraged to use the pool in the meantime (despite needing a shower) not having anywhere to change into swimwear. The bathroom was far and not clean, but we awkwardly changed. Pool looks great in pictures but isn't big. So guests can enjoy the post-airport sweat of travellers who are waiting for their rooms, while using the pool. Finally check-in time approaches, I asked for our room 1 minute before check-in and still they made us wait. "Cannot cannot cannot" is the mantra of the hotel. Finally 1 minute past check-in time they begin the check-in process and we get access to the room. Meanwhile there's someone near the counter offering free tours of the Phi Phi Islands in return for their 90 minute sales pitch meeting, to sell a Wyndham membership - no matter how beautiful the islands are, an overcrowded day tour won't sell your 5 figure (USD) membership if our first impression of the hotel is hostile and unaccommodating. Room was adequate, f&b staff were helpful... but for the price you can get a hotel that's just as adequate without a check-in guy on a power trip, and with far superior service.
